Your quit journey stays yours

NicoPath (“we”, “us”) is a quit-vaping app. You use it without creating an account or giving us your email or phone number. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we work with.

1 Information you give us

Your first name and age range — so your coach can address you and keep guidance age-appropriate.
Onboarding answers — vaping frequency, triggers, reasons for quitting, weekly spend, goals, and quit date.
Your “why” voice note — optional; stored only on your device, never uploaded.
Coach messages — anything you type to the AI coach.
A creator code — optional; if a creator referred you, we record their code to credit them.

2 Information collected automatically

An anonymous account ID — a random identifier so your streak survives a reinstall. Not tied to your identity.
Progress data — streak length, clean days, cravings beaten, pledges, and relapses you log.
Subscription status — whether you have an active plan (handled by Apple).

We do not use advertising SDKs, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not sell your data.

3 How we use your information

To run streak tracking, money saved, milestones, and the panic/craving tools.
To personalize your AI coach with the context you provided.
To restore your progress if you reinstall the app.
To credit a creator when you enter their code.
To keep the app working, secure, and free of abuse.

4 Who we share it with

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

5 Storage, security & retention

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Your progress is kept while the app is in use so it can be restored after a reinstall. Your voice note never leaves your phone.

6 Deleting your data

Wipe everything from Settings → Delete account in the app — this permanently removes your record from our backend. Deleting the app removes all local data, including your voice note.

7 Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR / CCPA), you may access, correct, or delete your data. The fastest way is the in-app delete, or contact us below.

8 Children

NicoPath is for people 13 and older. If you tell us you are 13–17, we keep coaching age-appropriate. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13; contact us and we’ll remove it.

9 Changes

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
